• Hazard: live-wire sparks, data-packet pits, phishing dives.
• Enemies: Phishing Bird (dive-bombs), Phishing Bird Gold (sine flyer), Bot Swarm (tiny, fast, chargers), Karen Node (rapid complaint turrets).
• Gate: COMPILE THE GATE — four numbered nodes. Shoot them in order 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 (wrong hit resets them all).
• Boss: Algo-Rhythm — magenta spread-shots, pulsing sonic booms, phishing-bird minions.
• Reward: Charge Blaster unlocks after victory.

LEVEL 3 — DISCOURSE DUNGEON (ready)

• Vibe: stone dungeon of burning threads, forum-fire torches, collapsing tiles.
• Hazard: six drama-fall pits, then a wide lava gauntlet of single-tile islands.
• Enemies: Clickbait Hydra, Karen Ghost, Spam Slime, Pitchfork Mob.
• Required move: one island in the gauntlet is only reachable with a fully-charged Super Hop.
• Gate: hardened 9-tile firewall (maxHp 4).
• Boss: Clickbait Queen — fire-themed arena, rage-mode in phase 3.

LEVEL 4 — DOOMSCROLL DEPTHS (ready)

• Vibe: descending social-media abyss — fall pits, turrets, and a "DOOMSCROLL!" warp pit mid-level.
• New enemies: Notification Wraith (fast flyer), Scroller Beast (ground charger).
• Gate: zigzag spam-block maze — 3 staggered pillars (9 tiles, maxHp 2) with Karen Node turrets firing through the gaps.
• Boss: Spam Lord — 110 HP. Spawns notification wraith minions in phase 3.
• Reward: Frog Dash unlocks after victory.

LEVEL 5 — FROGFATHER'S FORTRESS (final — ready)

• Vibe: corrupted lab fortress — formula vats, lab drones, and Dr. Croak's hall of frog clones.
• New enemies: Clone Frog (fast charger), Lab Drone (sine-fly), Formula Golem (tanky mid-level gate).
• Gate: Formula Vault — 12-tile fortified wall (maxHp 5 per tile), the heaviest gate in the game.
• Final Boss: Dr. Croak — 140 HP, two forms, three phases. "THEN JUMP!" telegraphs a ground-skimming salvo — power-jump or die. On rage he transforms and his own dedicated finalboss track kicks in.

ABILITIES

Frogsworth grows stronger after each boss. New tools unlock automatically; no menus, just more options.

STARTING KIT

• Frog Blaster (L1) — base weapon. Fire with Z / J.
• Super Hop (L1) — hold ↓ to crouch-charge, release ↑/Space to launch. Reaches high platforms and cleared a slam line of projectiles.

UNLOCKS

• Charge Blaster (after L2 boss) — hold Shift to build charge, release to fire a fan of 3–7 pellets. Fan width and per-pellet damage scale with charge. Great against Karen Node turret lines and boss minion waves.
• Frog Dash (after L4 boss) — tap C for a short horizontal lunge with i-frames and a 0.9s cooldown. Dodges Spam Lord spray and Dr. Croak's slam wall.

COMBAT TIPS

• Super Hop clears Dr. Croak's "THEN JUMP!" slam cleanly — don't try to walk under it.
• Charge Blaster's fan is perfect for shredding a staggered Karen Node pillar maze in one release.
• Frog Dash's i-frames can carry you through a projectile wall — great for boss phase transitions.
• Pick up a Full Restore (green) right before a boss door whenever you can — it refills HP + Energy.

ABOUT THE GAME

Dr. Frogsworth and the Stolen Formulas is the 4th game by createa.meme and the first createa.meme release of 2026. It's a hand-crafted homage to the 8-bit + 16-bit platformers that defined our childhood — the tight side-scroll of Super Mario Bros. crossed with the boss-gate pacing and post-stage ability unlocks of Mega Man.

Built in vanilla JavaScript + Three.js as a 2.5D pixel-art platformer, with original ElevenLabs-driven boss VO and a per-level music score. Five stages, five bosses, two ability unlocks, and one final transformation fight against the doctor who started it all.
